BRIEF HISTORY

In 1991, Mr. Abu Taher Molla (Founder) worked as an electrician at "Plastic Concern" Shyam Bazar, Kolkata, and lived near "Crown Cinema", 85-E, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, Janabazar, Kolkata-13.

One day when Mr. Taher was coming back from work, He saw that the road was very crowded, when He went near He saw an old man was sitting on the road wearing a sheet of "Hare Ram Hare Krishna", he was badly injured by an accident. His wife was with with him but she was a blind person. Mr.Taher took that old man in a hand rickshaw to a nearby R.G. Kar hospital for his treatment and also gave rent to the rikshaw driver from His pocket.

After some days, a blind person went from Mumbai to Kolkata. After 15 days, The man’s health deteriorated. Then "Mr. Abu Taher Molla" took the blind person to "Kolkata Medical Hospital", he came to know that the blind person is suffering from Tuberculosis (TB).

Every day when he returned from work, the blind man cried. 7 days later, the blind man held up his hand and started requesting "Take me to Mumbai so that I can get my treatment there well". "Mr. Abu Taher Molla" asked his father, should I go? His father allowed him. So he took that blind person to Mumbai. This was his first visit to Mumbai. After arriving in Mumbai, he admitted the blind person to the "TB Specialist Hospital" at Sewri. The blind people living in Mumbai gave him so much love that he lived in Mumbai for three months.

When he went back to Kolkata, he saw that he had been fired from his job. All the services which were provided from the factory like Provident Fund, ESI, etc. were canceled. He then met with the owner. The boss said, "We are starting our new factory in Balasore, Odisha. You have to go to Tarapur, Maharashtra for training" Then when he came back to Maharashtra for training, the trainer told that he had no vacancy. After this he started working in Mumbai as an electrician and also started helping the blind people.
